either experienced or are in the process of your own Awakening. This can
be a very confusing, painful and scary time for you if you don't understand
exactly what it is you're experiencing. Below, we've listed some of the
symptoms that you may be experiencing as a result of your Awakening.
~Symptoms of A Spiritual Awakening~
An event or series of events that have been extremely painful. E.g. loss of
a loved one either by relationship break up or death, near death experience,
life threatening illness. Loss of career, finances or home. A complete and
sudden change of life circumstances.
- Changes and Irregular sleep patterns. Trouble falling asleep or
difficulties staying asleep.
- Tingling or crawling feelings in the crown of head or the spine.
Strange “sick butterfly” feelings in the solar plexus area of your
stomach.
- Sudden and unexplained waves of emotions. Feelings of crying
for no apparent reason. Feelings of anxiousness or panic while in
a public place.
- Sudden weight gain, especially around the mid section. Changes
in eating habits or intolerance to certain foods with no
explanation.
- A deep yearning to “go home”, not to be confused with
- Feelings of your head in a haze. Walking around as though you
can’t focus on anything for more than a few minutes at a time.
- Odd visions; blurry vision, seeing things out of the corner of your
peripheral vision that aren’t there, seeing colors or energy waves
coming from people, plants or animals.
- Vivid dreams that wake you up. Feelings of deja vu in your

- Enhanced senses of smell, touch and taste.
- Extreme and intense energy surges followed by lethargy and
fatigue.
- Extreme heat sensations throughout your entire body. Feeling
as though the heat is resonating from the inside out.
- Yearning for solitude. Loss of interest in most or all external
activities.
- A deep yearning for meaning and purpose to life. A deep need for
some type of spiritual connection to the Source.
- “Teachers” appearing out of nowhere. A deep thirst for learning
or reading. Uncanny signs in books, movies, or events.
- Changes in sexual appetite. Unbalance as in either extreme want
for sex or exact opposite of no sexual appetite at all.
- Electrical or mechanical malfunctions. Clocks or lights flicker or
go on and off with no explanation. Computer issues or electronic
breakdowns.
- Increased intuitive abilities. People may seem to “flock to you”
for advise or to discuss their own issues with you.
- Sudden shedding of your old way of thinking and being.
Changes in beliefs and desires in life.
- Disappearance of people in your life. Friends and family that
were once close and dear to you seem to fade out of your life.
If you’ve experienced more then 3 of these symptoms at one time, chances
are you are in the process of going thru your own Awakening. The above
issues can come on very suddenly and all at once. Or, happen gradually
over time.
